Staying in the heart of the village of Uzès during the truffle festival

Since Roman times, this precious truffle has thrived in the limestone soils of the Uzège region in the South of France, from mid-November to mid-March. In January, the town of Uzès, 40 minutes from Nîmes, takes on the title of capital of the black truffle and promotes it accordingly. The black diamond is honored for a new edition every year during the Truffle Weekend held in mid-January. It has become the unmissable event of the Uzès region since 1994.

Uzès celebrates the black jewel of the local terroir through a series of events and activities dedicated to the winter black truffle, known by its scientific name *tuber melanosporum*. Entertainment, activities, tours, producers' market, meals to enjoy on the Place aux Herbes, truffle-themed weekend, reservations to discover truffle dishes in Uzès restaurants, a night at the Boutique Hôtel Entraigues**** or in a guest house, news to follow... You will know everything about the Uzès Truffle Festival, its dedicated market, and its festive weekend!

2026 Truffle Weekend Programme
