The Saveurs & Savoirs Festival is a new event combining culture and gastronomy. And it's in France, in the Gard! It's an original event, conceived by François-Régis Gaudry and the Association des Amis de la Librairie de la Place aux Herbes. This unique festival, deeply rooted in its region, celebrates all forms of artistic and culinary expression.
It was the combination of culture and gastronomy that inspired the first edition of the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival, held in 2023. The next edition will take place on October 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2025! The Festival can be discovered on foot, through the various emblematic sites ofUzès, Ville d'Art et d'Histoire: the Ombrière theater, the cinema, partner restaurants, and of course, the famous Place aux Herbes with its renowned bookshop!

Presentation of the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival

In 2023, driven by the desires, passions and taste for sharing of François-Régis Gaudry and his friends, the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival made its entry into the French gastronomic landscape, in the Gard region. The first two editions hit the ground running, with a line-up of exceptional guests including chef Anne-Sophie Pic, Pierre Gagnaire, Christophe Michalak, Glenn Viel and Stephanie Le Quellec.
Every year, the Saveux & Savoirs Festival attracts large numbers of enthusiastic festival-goers, seduced by the combination of culture and cuisine. Born of the idea of strengthening the link between these two worlds in one space, the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival is based on editorial productions (books, exhibitions, films) that explore this theme while offering participants exceptional culinary experiences with top chefs and regional producers.
Knowledge and flavors will be honored in all their forms: on the plates, through books, in the cinema, at conferences, meetings, culinary demonstrations, at market stalls, during a public contest, or even in the words of a culinary dictation. All the ingredients are in place to make this festival a must-see event on the French gastronomic scene.
