Book your stay in Uzès!
The Saveurs & Savoirs Festival is the ultimate event combining culture and gastronomy. And it takes place in France, in the Gard department! This is a one-of-a-kind event, created by François-Régis Gaudry and the Association des Amis de la Librairie de la Place aux Herbes. Deeply rooted in its region, this unique festival celebrates all forms of artistic and culinary expression.
It was the alliance of culture and gastronomy that inspired the first edition of the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival, held in 2023. The next edition will take place on October 8, 9, 10, and 11, 2026! It can be explored on foot, across various iconic locations in Uzès, a City of Art and History: the Ombrière performance hall, the cinema, partner restaurants, and of course, the famous Place aux Herbes with its renowned bookstore!

Introduction to the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival

In 2023, driven by François-Régis Gaudry and his friends' passion for sharing, the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival made its debut in the French gastronomic landscape within the Gard department. Each edition brings together big names with an exceptional program and guests. Saveurs & Savoirs has already welcomed chef Anne-Sophie Pic, chef Pierre Gagnaire, Christophe Michalak, Glenn Viel, Hélène Darroze, and Stephanie Le Quellec.
Every year, the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival attracts an enthusiastic audience, charmed by the combination of culture and cuisine. Born from the idea of bringing these two worlds together in a single space, the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival relies on editorial productions (books, exhibitions, films) that explore this theme while offering participants exceptional culinary experiences with renowned chefs and regional producers.
Knowledge and flavors will be celebrated in all their forms: on the plate, through books, at the cinema, during conferences, meet-and-greets, culinary demonstrations, market stalls, a public competition, or even through the words of a culinary dictation. All the ingredients are present to make this festival a must-attend event in the French gastronomic landscape.
