Pont du Gard sound and light show 2024

The Summer 2023 sound and light show at the Pont du Gard was an unforgettable experience for spectators, transporting them through the valley's biodiversity, flora and fauna. The show was designed by Christophe Berthonneau of Groupe F and Caillou MV, using drones and video to fully envelop the monument and the sky over the Pont du Gard site.

In anticipation of summer 2024, organizers of the Pont du Gard are preparing new sound and light shows. The site is transformed into a giant screen vibrant with color, with captivating video mappings that celebrate travel and poetry. Let yourself be carried away by this visual epic that will captivate young and old alike, in a convivial atmosphere at the foot of this stone colossus. Get ready for an even more magical experience at the Pont du Gard this summer!

Illuminating the Pont du Gard

This summer, immerse yourself in the magic of the Pont du Gard's special lighting display with "Contre-temps", an artistic creation by the renowned Groupe F (designer and producer of outdoor pyrotechnic shows and theatrical works). This unique experience is an artistic interpretation of the daytime and night-time variations in natural light on the Pont du Gard. Let yourself be carried away by this fiction that explores the Earth's rotation and its impact on natural light, creating striking visual effects.

Every evening, from dusk on the right bank beach, from June 29 to September 1, 2024, you can discover this 20-minute looped cycle before and after the main "Notre Vaisseau" sound and light show. Get ready for an immersive, poetic experience that will showcase the beauty and grandeur of the Pont du Gard from a new artistic angle.

Notre Vaisseau" sound and light show

During this sound and light show, spectators are invited to reflect on their daily journey along a thousand-year-old line: our planet Earth. Imagined as an ecological fable, this show offers a unique poetic and visual experience.

Not to be missed in July and August, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10.30pm, this show lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. Prepare to be transported on an immersive journey to the heart of ecological issues and the wonders of our planet.

• Access to the show is free, but a parking fee of €9 per car applies.
• We advise you to bring warm clothes and, if necessary, seats to enjoy the show and your visit in comfort.
