Peta Mathias MNZM is a prominent and dynamic figure on the New Zealand culinary scene. A respected chef, prolific author and broadcaster, she shares her passion for cooking and travel through her writings and organized gastronomic tours of Morocco, southern France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

For her cooking classes in Uzès, Peta Mathias offers a format that lets you soak up life in the South of France, as if you were living there. That's why his classes take place on market days: Wednesdays and Saturdays (other days on request) from late May to early October in his home. The courses are designed to immerse you in the art of living of the inhabitants of the South of France, their way of eating, drinking and working. Although unconventional, the courses are organized in a structured way, focusing on the discovery of numerous recipes in the kitchen.

Meet at 9am at the market to go shopping with Peta Mathias. On returning from the market, at around 10am, the cooking class begins, lasting until 1pm. Then it's time to share the dishes we've prepared together over a bottle of good wine. Maximum 8 participants. Classes are available in French and English.

Le Pistou

L'Atelier de Cuisine Le Pistou Uzès invites you to take culinary classes in the heart of the historic center ofUzès. In a warm and friendly setting, you'll have the opportunity to discover the art of cooking through an enriching experience with a passionate and well-traveled chef. 

Classes offer the opportunity to prepare between 6 and 8 dishes, depending on the chosen theme. They start at 9:30 a.m. in the kitchen and last at least 3 hours, before sharing the dishes prepared over a convivial meal, accompanied by a fine wine.

For lovers of night-time experiences, themed evenings are also offered from 6/7pm. These 2-hour cooking sessions are followed by a convivial meal, including a selection of wines. A minimum of 6 participants is required for these evenings, and prices vary according to the subject and ingredients used.

Classes are held on request and by reservation, in French or English, and are open to children and adults alike, with a preference for groups. Themes covered include petits plats de Provence, classic French cuisine, Indian cuisine, Lebanese recipes.... In short, Atelier de Cuisine Le Pistou Uzès offers an immersive culinary experience, combining tradition, conviviality and the discovery of flavors, in an authentic setting in the heart of the charming town ofUzès.

Loggia

In addition to his catering business, chef Nathan Henck felt the need to share his passion and culinary expertise. The idea is to invite participants to the Loggia workshop to discover new recipes and acquire culinary techniques.

Every Friday, a specific theme is proposed, always with products of choice, attracting as many people as possible. A focus on pastry-making, preparing a vegetarian dish or learning how to de-vein a piece of meat... there's something for everyone. Over a 3-hour period, participants have the opportunity to learn to cook with a chef, an activity that is both fun and rewarding.

For private or professional groups, courses are also available throughout the week by prior reservation, to be arranged several days in advance and according to chef Nathan Henck's availability. Sessions are limited to a maximum of 8 people per Friday, providing an environment conducive to learning and interaction. At the end of the workshop, participants have the choice of taking their culinary creation home with them, or tasting it together on site to share their opinions. Don't forget to book a restaurant in Uzès to extend the culinary experience.
