The December 2025 edition once again dazzled visitors with its diverse entertainment, rich variety of stalls, and warmest atmosphere.
The Christmas festivities organized by the Comité des Fêtes light up the town of Uzès starting December 1st. However, the highlight of this festive period to add to your calendar is the Christmas market and its activities, which span over 3 days. The Place aux Herbes, the town's emblematic square, will be transformed into a veritable Christmas village. Nearly 90 exhibitors from the Gard department and surrounding areas will be on hand to offer a multitude of products: gastronomy, fashion, accessories, decoration, crafts, and much more. The Uzès Christmas market
The upcoming Christmas market will take place from Saturday, December 12 to Monday, December 14, 2026 on the Place aux Herbes in Uzès, known for its famous year-round markets. You will find over 90 artisans, creators, and producers coming from the Gard, Vaucluse, Drôme, Gers, Aveyron, Savoie, Ariège, and other regions to showcase their craftsmanship.
You will find a wide range of original gift ideas, unique creations for the home, fashion, and well-being, as well as creative suggestions to adorn your festive and New Year's Eve tables. You can discover gourmet products, local specialties, interior decoration items, jewelry, leather goods, and even wooden toys.

Entertainment is at the heart of Christmas magic in Uzès. For three days, the town lights up, comes alive, and welcomes visitors of all ages into a magical atmosphere.
Here is a look back at the program for the 2025 edition.
Saturday, December 13th
From 10 AM to 11 PM, the Christmas Market awaits you on the Place du Duché, fully decorated for the occasion.
The afternoon kicks off at 2 PM with “The Christmas Tales” concert, performed by the Municipal Music School at the multipurpose hall (free admission), a tender, family-friendly musical moment.
At 5 PM, meet your favorite characters – Disney icons, superheroes, and mascots – for a photo opportunity on Place du Duché, until 6:30 PM.
Then, at 6 PM, the La Fenestrelle choir will perform traditional songs in front of the town hall, adding a touch of musical sweetness to the December air.
The highlight of the day begins at 7 PM:
the Grand Magical Christmas Parade, inspired by Christmas Tales, marches from Boulevard Gide, crosses Boulevard Gambetta and Rue Saint-Étienne before reaching Place aux Herbes, Place Dampmartin, and finally returning to Place du Duché.
At the head of the procession, the Festivities Committee float and elves handing out surprises to children.
Acrobats, stilt-walkers, dancers from the Bstyle company, and a cartoon show will accompany the thematic floats:

- The Tale of the Little Mice's New Year's Eve
- The Tale of the Polar Bears
Illuminated vehicles and your favorite mascots light up the route…
Until the long-awaited arrival of Santa Claus, who will close the parade before a final 20-minute concert on Place du Duché.
The Christmas Market continues from 7 PM to 11 PM on Place aux Herbes, under the glow of sparkling decorations.
After the parade, the illuminated vehicles will be on display in front of the town hall, and from 8:30 PM to 9 PM, you can take a picture with Santa Claus in his House, at the Children's Village.
Sunday, December 14: a village dedicated to children and a fantastic show
From 10 AM, the Christmas Market reopens on Place aux Herbes and Place du Duché.
The Children's Village will welcome families from 10 AM to 5:30 PM:
Santa's house, wooden games, bouncy castle, balloon sculptors, face painting, crêpes, roasted chestnuts, mascots... a true paradise for the little ones.
New for 2025: The Escape Game “Find Who Stole Santa's Sleigh”
Starting at 10 AM (while clues last), children can step into the shoes of detectives to lead the investigation.
A little surprise awaits those who find the culprit!
At 4:30 PM, meet at the multipurpose hall for the free show “Le Voyage Fantastik” (courtesy of the Festival Committee).
Doors open at 3:30 PM. Online booking recommended.
The day continues with the Christmas Apéritif, from 6 PM to 9:30 PM on Place du Duché:
DJ Loïc, refreshment bar, snacks, good vibes, and festive Christmas outfits.

Monday, December 15: last day of the market
From 10 AM to 6 PM, the Christmas Market continues on Place aux Herbes and Place du Duché for your final gourmet and artisanal shopping.
The Children's Village
Near the Christmas market, the famous Children's Village on Place André Malraux is open on Sundays. A wide range of activities is offered, including Santa's House (where you can take a picture with him), creative workshops such as drawing, face painting, wooden games, and a bouncy castle to entertain the little ones.

Carousels and ice rink in Uzès
The Christmas festivities extend well beyond the weekend of Saturday, December 13, through Monday, December 15, 2025, at Uzès. From early December through early January, the Esplanade transforms into a veritable amusement park with a multitude of games, rides, and food stands. Every Wednesday and Saturday, the fairground operators host a big raffle offering the chance to win rides. For amusement park lovers, spend a family day at Candyland at Uzès during your stay.
Just a few steps away, an ecological ice rink is also set up for the delight of skating enthusiasts.
In addition, a special mailbox has been installed in the town hall courtyard by the festival committee. Children can drop off their letters to Santa Claus there. An extra touch of magic to make this period even more special!
