The Christmas festivities organized by the Comité des fêtes light up the city of Uzès from December 1. But the highlight of the festive season is the 3-day Christmas market. Place aux Herbes, the town's landmark, will be transformed into a veritable Christmas village. Nearly 90 exhibitors from the Gard region and beyond will be on hand to offer a wide range of products: gastronomy, fashion, accessories, decoration, handicrafts and much more. Uzès Christmas market
The upcoming Christmas market will take place from Saturday December 13 to Monday December 15, 2025 on the Place aux Herbes inUzès, famous for its year-round markets. Over 90 artisans, designers and producers from the Gard, Vaucluse, Drôme, Gers, Aveyron, Savoie, Ariège and other regions will be on hand to share their expertise.
You'll find a wide range of original gift ideas, unique creations for the home, fashion and wellbeing, as well as creative suggestions for embellishing your festive and New Year's Eve tables. You'll find gourmet products, local specialties, home decor, jewelry, leather goods and even wooden toys.
Christmas entertainment and parade
The festivities are at the heart of the magic of Christmas in Uzès. For three days, the town lights up, comes alive, and welcomes young and old alike in a magical atmosphere.
Here is the enchanting program for the 2025 edition.
Saturday, December 13
From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., the Christmas Market awaits you on Place du Duché, which has been decorated especially for the occasion.
The afternoon begins at 2 p.m. with the concert "Les Contes de Noël"(Christmas Tales), performed by the Municipal School of Music in the multipurpose hall (free admission), a tender musical moment for the whole family.
At 5 p.m., meet your favorite characters —Disney, superheroes, and mascots—for a photo opportunity on Place du Duché until 6:30 p.m.
Then, at 6 p.m., the La Fenestrelle choir will perform traditional songs in front of the town hall, adding a touch of musical sweetness to the December air.
The highlight of the day begins at 7 p.m.:
the Grand Christmas Fairy Parade, inspired by Christmas stories, starts at Boulevard Gide, then crosses Boulevard Gambetta and Rue Saint-Étienne before reaching Place aux Herbes, Place Dampmartin, and finally returning to Place du Duché.
At the head of the parade, the Festival Committee float and elves handing out surprises to children.
Acrobats, stilt walkers, dancers from the Bstyle company, and a cartoon show will accompany the themed floats:
- The Tale of the Hedgehog
- The Tale of the Little Mice's Christmas Eve
- The Tale of the Polar Bears
Illuminated vehicles and your favorite mascots light up the route...
Until the long-awaited arrival of Santa Claus, who will close the parade before a final 20-minute concert on Place du Duché.
The Christmas Market continues from 7:00 p.m. to 11: 00 p. m. on Place aux Herbes, illuminated by sparkling decorations.
After the parade, the illuminated vehicles will be on display in front of City Hall, and from 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., you can take a photo with Santa Claus in his house in the Children's Village.
Sunday, December 14: a village dedicated to children and a fantastic show
From 10 a.m., the Christmas Market reopens its doors on Place aux Herbes and Place du Duché.
The Children's Village will welcome families from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.:
Santa's house, wooden games, bouncy castle, balloon sculptors, face painting, crepes, roasted chestnuts, mascots... a real paradise for little ones.
New for 2025: the Escape Game "Find out who stole Santa's sleigh"
Starting at 10 a.m. (until all clues are exhausted), children can step into the shoes of detectives to conduct the investigation.
A little surprise is in store for those who find the culprit!
At 4:30 p.m., head to the multipurpose hall for the free show “Le Voyage Fantastik” (offered by the Festival Committee).

The day continues withChristmas drinks from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Place du Duché:
DJ Loïc, drinks, snacks, good vibes, and festive outfits.

Monday, December 15: last day of the market
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Christmas Market continues on Place aux Herbes and Place du Duché, for your last-minute gourmet and artisanal purchases.
The Children's Village
Close to the Christmas market is the famous Children's Village on Place André Malraux, open on Sundays. A wide range of entertainment is on offer, including Santa's House (where you can take a photo with him), creative workshops such as drawing, face-painting, wooden games and a bouncy castle to keep the little ones entertained.

Rides and skating rink in Uzès
The Christmas festivities extend well beyond the weekend of Saturday, December 13 to Monday, December 15, 2025 in Uzès. From early December to early January, the Esplanade is transformed into a veritable amusement park with a multitude of games, rides, and food stands. Every Wednesday and Saturday, the fairground operators organize a big raffle offering the chance to win rides. For amusement park enthusiasts, spend the day with your family at Candyland in Uzès during your stay.
A few steps away, an ecological ice rink has also been set up for the enjoyment of skating fans.
