As part of the famous Saveurs & Savoirs festival held every year in Uzèsthe Boutique Hôtel Entraigues**** was honored to welcome Carole André, a renowned perfumer specially flown in from Grasse, the cradle of French perfumery.
During these "Wine & Perfume" workshops, she revealed to the public the secrets of her fascinating profession, sometimes shrouded in mystery, by linking it to the world of wine.

Can you recognize the top, middle and base notes of a good Côtes de Gascogne?
Can you distinguish a woody scent from a leathery one, or a green note from a fruity one?
Carole André introduces you to these subtleties in interactive, creative and exciting workshops.

A unique approach: educating the nose

Whether you're a wine lover, a perfume enthusiast or simply curious, there's a place for everyone in this sensory universe.
Carole André highlights an often overlooked truth: we educate the sense of touch, hearing or sight, but rarely the sense of smell.

Exhibition extended: Jean Arène until March 2026

Echoing these workshops, the Boutique Hôtel Entraigues is extending the exhibition of Provencal painter Jean Arène until the end of March 2026.
An exclusive lecture, hosted by Claude Michel, lecturer and art history enthusiast, specializing in French and foreign expressionists more or less known to the general public, and in recent years in contemporary Provencal painters including Auguste Chabaud and Jean Arène.

Claude Michel will enrich this cultural program on Saturday November 15, 2025 at the Boutique Hôtel Entraigues.
New works, notably still lifes, will also be presented in the hotel-gallery spaces.
