On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the Boutique Hôtel Entraigues**** d'Uzès will host a conference dedicated to the work of Provencal painter Jean Arène, led by Claude Michel, art historian and lecturer.

Recently presented at the Musée Regards de Provence in Marseille, this lecture invites us to rediscover Jean Arène 's painting through a sensitive and sensory approach.
Between Mediterranean light, compositions of fruit and everyday objects, his still lifes become suspended moments where the eye dialogues with matter.

This meeting is a continuation of the Wine & Perfume" workshops led in October by Carole André, a renowned perfumer and graduate of ISIPCA, France's leading perfume school, who explored the links between olfaction, tasting and the artistic eye.
In November, it's time for contemplation: see art differently, under the historic vaults of the Boutique Hôtel Entraigues.
